Level One Travel: Everything you need to know

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on Wednesday night that South Africa will move to alert level 1 of lockdown.

International travel in and out the country, for both business and leisure, will be allowed from 1 October.
International tourists will be allowed to enter the country from three airports in South Africa: King Shaka International in Durban, OR Tambo International airport in Kempton Park, and Cape Town International.
If you are entering the country through a border, the same borders which are open now, will be used.

Breakfast with Martin Bester listeners are excited to travel again and named the places they are planning to travel to!
Travelers will be subject to COVID-19 testing unless they can prove that they have been tested less than 72 hours before their departure time. If they cannot show a test, it is advised to stay in quarantine while waiting for test results. If the traveller shows symptoms, they will be tested again and they will have to be quarantined until the test results are open.
Travelers will have to pay for their own accommodation during quarantine.
All international travellers must download the Covid Alert SA app.
