Middelburg air quality ranks among the worst in the world
Middelburg's air quality recently ranked among the most polluted in the world.
Air quality is a massive issue across the world, and South Africa is no different.
Pollution often leads to various cities and towns in South Africa ranking among the places with the worst air quality worldwide.
According to Caxton Network News, Middelburg recently had air quality that compared to the worst in the world.

Poor air quality isn't a new thing for the Mpumalanga town, as residents have complained about the town's dust build-up and poor air quality for years.
On Wednesday, October 30, the town scored 153 on the US Air Quality Index, as reported by Swiss air quality tracking company IQAir.
Based on information taken from IQAir on 4 November, this score would have placed Middelburg among the world's Top 10 most polluted places.
Caxton Network News reported that between 20:00 and 21:00 on Wednesday, air quality was severely bad and unhealthy or dangerous for the population at large.

A score above the measure of 150 is categorised as unhealthy for the public at large.
