Mom furious after four-year-old gets engineering and math lessons in nursery

A mother was left frustrated by a nursery's gruelling schedule for her four-year-old daughter - including lessons in maths and engineering.

A mother, who was told her daughter was 'not doing well' at a nursery school, was left shocked after discovering her gruelling daily schedule.
After becoming concerned by the feedback, the mother found the intense daily schedule her child was expected to follow between 7am and 6.30pm at the nursery school in Australia.

The daughter was expected to learn about 'news, letters, and booklets.'
The daughter and the rest of her classmates were also expected to learn about maths and engineering.
"A four-year-old has limited concentration anyway, that's a harsh routine," Elma Smit said.
A caller told Breakfast with Martin Bester that children learn through play. Through play they also learn to share and communicate.
