Clubs are not allowed to operate under Level 1 of the lockdown. However, this nightclub completely disregarded the Disaster Management Act...
According to Police Minister Bheki Cele, the club was operating past curfew, had more patrons than allowed, and none of the partygoers wore masks.
Reports emerged over the weekend of Cele and members of the SAPS and JMPD busting a club in Sandton, Johannesburg, called Blackdoor.
The club allegedly has no liquor license.
