Tennis superstar Serena Williams is on an 'odd' diet to help with injuries and illnesses - and it includes the surface she loves playing tennis on.
Would you ever eat grass to help with injuries and illnesses? Well, tennis legend Serena Williams believes in the health advantages of grass.

Williams has dominated the grass at Wimbledon and won seven of her 23 Grand Slam titles at this tournament. But never did we think that she would be on a grass diet?!
In an interview with The Times, Williams revealed that she is on a grass diet, which she consumes in the form of a smoothie.
According to Williams, grass helps stave off injuries and illnesses. "It's a nightmare, but it works," she said.
On Tuesday, Williams withdrew from the Italian Open before her second-round match against sister Venus Williams because of a previously injured left knee.
