Award-winning singer-songwriter Arno Carstens has returned to his Afrikaans roots with the release of his deeply personal single, 'Hoe Gaan Dit'.

The new single dropped on March 1, 2024, and is the lead track to his much-anticipated EP 'Sewe Sakke Hoop' launching on May 24, 2024.

To celebrate his new single, the Springbok Nude Girls frontman performed his hit 'Out Of The Blue' on Friday Live.

According to Carstens, 'Hoe Gaan Dit' delved into the raw emotion and void left by friends and loved ones who have emigrated.

Arno Carstens has been a significant figure in the South African music scene for over two decades, starting as the lead vocalist of The Springbok Nude Girls before embarking on a successful solo career.

His discography spans 15 albums, earning him multiple South African Music Awards (SAMAs). Carstens' last Afrikaans album, 'Die Aandblom 13', was a heartfelt homage to his upbringing, showcasing his ability to weave tales of love, awakening, and change.

The upcoming EP, ‘Sewe Sakke Hoop’, promises to be a landmark in Carstens' career, offering a fresh perspective and new stories to his ever-growing fan base.

It reflects on the global and personal upheavals of our times, emphasising hope and resilience amidst challenges.
