Suspected Clearwater Mall shoplifters caught

While many people were enjoying
the weekend, especially following the Springboks’ victory over the All Blacks, two
women had other plans.
Two alleged thieves tried to get away after stealing goods at Clearwater Mall in Johannesburg.
The thieves tried to drive through a security gate in their attempts to get away with their loot.
However, their Volkswagen Polo came to a standstill when the tires of the car were punctured by security buckles.

Security guards tried to stop the suspects from getting out of the car.

Stolen goods were found in the car and the women are expected to appear in court this week on charges of shoplifting and possession of stolen goods.
