The Wikimedia Foundation recently revealed the most searched articles on Wikipedia for 2023.
Whenever you search for something on the internet, chances are the first result that will pop up is a Wikipedia article.
Many people turn to Wikipedia for answers about just about anything, and in 2023, Wikipedia received over 84-billion views alone.

In a recent report, the Wikimedia Foundation, the non-profit that hosts Wikipedia, revealed the 25 most-read articles on English Wikipedia this year.
But first, here is the top five articles of the year:
1. ChatGPT, 49,490,406 pageviews
2. Deaths in 2023, 42,666,860
3. 2023 Cricket World Cup, 38,171,653
4. Indian Premier League, 32,012,810
5. Oppenheimer (film), 28,348,248
"ChatGPT is English Wikipedia’s most popular article of the year. The fastest-growing consumer application in history recently reached its one-year anniversary," reports Wikimedia.
