Duff posted a photo of herself with her daughter - and something caught the eyes of many.

Fans realised that her eight-month-old daughter had pierced ears.
Most of her fans were not happy with Duff piercing her daughter's ears, as she is so young.
"I only got my ears pierced at 13 - and it was my choice," Liesl Laurie told Martin Bester.
Gerda de Sousa said that even though she has a son, she would say the appropriate age would be six.
