Finalist 1:
Karina Greyling and Adriaan Rootman’s wedding was scheduled for the 26th of March 2020. On Karina’s bachelorette weekend in December, her sister, who was to be her maid of honour, fell from the jacuzzi on the balcony on the second floor and sadly passed away. The couple then decided to cancel the wedding. Two months later, everyone convinced the couple to proceed with the initial wedding as planned, which they then decided to do and arranged the entire wedding again.
However, as fate would have it, the national lockdown was announced on their wedding day and the wedding had to be cancelled again.
