Mangosuthu Buthelezi recovers from Covid-19

The former leader of the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi has recovered from Covid-19, his family said on Thursday.

The 91-year-old Buthelezi, who suffers from diabetes, tested positive two weeks ago and has now completed the mandatory period of self-isolation.

Family spokesperson Bhekuyise Buthelezi says the prince went for another test and results have come back negative.
"He remained asymptomatic throughout the two weeks and he is very good spirits.”
