Jacaranda FM at Heartbeat

This year Jacaranda FM decided to have a Back to School initiative were school stationery was bought for over a 100 orphaned children. On the 30th of January, the radio station sent two of its interns, Kabelo Mekoa and Arizona Ramutloa together with other Jacaranda FM staff members to deliver the stationery to the children. The Back to School event started off with the introduction of the Jacaranda team. Mack Thomas (Presenter), Tshepo Makhubela (Junior Sound Engineer), Kabelo Mekoa (Radio Intern) and Arizona Ramutloa (Radio Intern). Jacaranda FM invited a celebrity from SABC 1’s Skeem Saam a television series – Thabiso Mamabolo who was a pleasant surprise for the young crowd. The day was filled with games and fun competitions were the children won Jacaranda FM goodies as well as prizes.
