Today is Ruth Pointers 68th Birthday. In 1972, Ruth joined his sisters to form the Pointer Sisters and the eventually found fame in 1973 with their hit single “Yes We Can Can.” The group found its biggest success with the release of their 1983 album “Break Out” which featured hits such as “Automatic” and the ever famous “I’m So Excited”.
