Hospitals damaged in Durban storm
Some hospital patients have been moved to other facilities after the Durban storm caused some damage to five of the city's hospitals.
The spokesperson for the KwaZulu-Natal health department, Sam Mkhwanazi, says roofs have collapsed at some of the facilities.
Hospitals have also flooded.
"I can confirm that some of our health facilities in Durban have been adversely affected by this storm that is battering the coast today. These facilities include Prince Mshiyeni, Kind Edward, Wentworth, Addington and King Dinizulu hospital. Employees and management at these facilities are doing all that they can to ensure patient care," Mkhwanazi says.
He was unable to confirm whether any patients or staff had been injured.

At least two people have died in the storm.
ER24 says one person has been killed along the N2 after a container fell onto a vehicle.
A municipal employee in Durban has been killed after the storm struck the beachfront on Tuesday morning.
eThekwini's head of Parks and Recreation, Thembinkosi Ngcobo says the woman had been trying to seek refuge from the weather when a wall collapsed on her.
Cars became submerged on the highways, as roads flooded due to the heavy downpour.
Buildings and car parks have also collapsed.
