Grieving mom gets Angel-help to continue helping dogs in need
Despite losing her daughter in August, Estelle Smith is still doing all she can to help dogs in need; that's why Good Morning Angels assisted Estelle with R100,000 to continue her invaluable work for the underdogs" and help her through this tough time.
Estelle Smith has dedicated her life to the underdogs of all dog breeds - pit bull terriers.
She currently cares for over 40 rescued pit bulls. She does not only feed them; she rehabilitates them after saving them from fighting rings, abuse, and families who simply do not know how to care for them. It is not unusual for Estelle to travel to remote areas in the middle of the night, at the drop of a hat, to save a dog.

She tries to find good, new homes for all of these dogs - and has succeeded many times. However, when she doesn’t, she keeps looking after them like they were the last animals on the planet.
Estelle says when she's with the dogs, she doesn't have to think about her great loss. She's lost many loved ones over the past few years, including her husband and sister, but the death of her daughter at the end of last month was the worst.
Chantelle was very ill for over a year, and just when it seemed that she was on the mend, she passed away.
Estelle is shattered, but she keeps going with her dogs, no matter how harsh or difficult.
One of the people who assist Estelle in this mission wrote to Good Morning Angels for some assistance for a woman "who honestly needs a break and a miracle".
