Jazz legend Hugh Masekela dies

Legendary South African jazz musician,
trumpeter, composer, and singer Hugh Masekela has passed away at the age of 78.

In October 2017, he announced that he was battling prostate cancer.
He was first diagnosed with the disease in 2008.
Fellow musician Hotstix took to social media to express his sadness, "I have no words - my friend a mentor a giant Rest In Peace #hughmasekela am shattered 😰🇿🇦,"
While hip-hop artist and idols presenter, ProVerb, wrote: "Go well Mogolo, thank you for the wisdom, the generosity, the laughs and thank you for the music. Rest In Peace Ntate #HughMasekela 💔"
