We put together a list of fun things you and your girls can do, in Gauteng, to celebrate this amazing and well deserved day.

A movie date

When last did you enjoy a good movie, with great company? This Girlfriend’s Day, ditch the cinema and go to The Bioscope instead, and yes, they still exist. Visit The Bioscope in Johannesburg’s Maboneng Precinct for a range of alternative and independent movies at just R45.

Last night's sold out live scoring of Tartüffe was something special. Thank you to everyone who came!

Go hiking

Claim that rain check from your girls and go on a relaxing hike, and a much needed bonding session.

Adventure golf

Dust off the clubs and go catch up with the girls over a scenic round or two of golf, some music and entertainment.

Shopping

You can never go wrong with a good old shopping spree, but this time, buy gifts for each other instead, every girl could use an extra pair of shoes or a new hand bag.

Spa

If you’re the type of girl that likes taking it easy, then a relaxing day at the spa would be right up your alley.

After working up an appetite with all these activities, why not visit a food market for some gourmet food and a great atmosphere.

Whatever you do this Girlfriend’s Day, we hope you have an amazing day!
