Today we honour our loved ones as we reflect on two years of our loss in the wake of Covid-19
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
Hello Mzansi, For many of us, the loss of routine, livelihood, purpose, stability, and most importantly our loved ones, still echoes with profound sadness and mourning throughout our lives. Those who didn’t suffer catastrophic loss share a sense of guilt and have had different challenges and heartbreak to contend with.
We have weathered this storm together, albeit in different boats.
Personally, the loss of many special friends and neighbors has left me feeling hopeless at times. We have never had to muster so much strength amid uncertainty as we have in the past couple of years.
Understandably, we are exhausted after facing this global energy of uncertainty and sometimes helplessness for 730 days, but the great news is that it is lifting, and that we are reconnecting!
As we remember those taken too soon, I want to share a special THANK YOU to the magical medium of Radio for keeping us connected, thank you to our communities who gave to those who needed assistance, even when there was little to give. Thank you to the Jacaranda FM family for rallying around our listeners to keep them entertained and informed.
Thank you to you for listening!
Join us in paying homage to those we lost by keeping them alive in our smiles and on our tribute wall.
Say their names often and tell us their stories!

A special message to all of you from the Jacaranda FM presenters.
