Meet the oldest man in the world - Saturnino de la Fuente García, who is 112 years old. He is from Spain and was born on 11 February 1909.

Saturnino recently celebrated his birthday surrounded by his family.

He and his wife Antonina Barrio Gutiérrez are blessed with seven daughters and one son, who sadly passed away as a child. He also has14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Secret to a long life

For years, people have been searching for the secret to a long life.

It seems the secret is finally out.

Saturnino says it is all about living a life of peace and ensuring that you treat others well.

"A quiet life… and do not hurt anyone," García told Guinness World Records.

His passion

Saturnino loves to play soccer and he is the proud founder of the Puente Castro team which he also played for.

According to Guinness World Records, the 112-year-old still loves the sport and visited the team on his 110th birthday as the oldest member of the soccer club. 

Apart from soccer, Saturnino’s other passion is making boots.

He is a renowned bootmaker and used to create boots for the army.
