Gone are the days when men left all the cooking up to the women. Nowadays, more men are developing a love for the pots and we are loving it.

Social media has also exposed us to our very own celebrities who enjoy cooking delicious meals for themselves and their loved ones.

Let’s look at some of them.

Somizi Mhlongo

Week after week, he entertains South Africans while sharing some of his recipes.

He is now following in his mother's footsteps and has opened the 'Something's Cooking by J' restaurant.

J'Something likes to share recipes with his Instagram followers. He recently shared a recipe he cooked for dinner for his family.

THE BATTLE OF THE MAC N CHEESE!! I reckon I make a pretty damn good Mac n Cheese … 🙂 @lancewood.co.za has a pretty damn good recipe too, and it takes half the time my one does thanks to their, rather impressive white sauce. Seriously … it's good. I wanted to share their recipe with you guys. I did a few things EXTRA to their recipe and I wanted to share my add ons too … So … Firstly I wanted to add some of my personal favourite flavours to the white sauce, so I added a good amount of paprika, a little garlic, and a dash of cumin. Then I had the tub of Lancewood Cream Cheese around so I added a heaped tablespoon of it into my white sauce until it melted, ratchet I know, but before you judge, try it. Then lastly, my little addition was a crumbing. I love a good crumb on top of my Mac n Cheese so into a blender I add some fresh herbs, bread crusts from like a ciabatta or any slightly ‘older’ bread you may have in the bread bin, and seasoning. Give it a few turns in the blender and then place that on top before baking. Let me know in the comments what your secret weapon is in your Mac n Cheese cause I know it's one of those things. Check out www.lancewood.co.za for a bunch of quick, easy and delicious meals that will help you get the most of quality time with your fam. And if you haven't yet, remember to take the Lancewood Quality Time Pledge too! Swipe to see the original recipe ✊ #LancewoodQualityTime
