EXCLUSIVE: Louise Carver hits top spot on The Billboard Chart With ‘Crazy Enough’
Updated | By Kriya Gangiah
This makes it the second time Louise Carver has hit that number one spot on The Billboard Chart.
Louise Carver has found out that reaching number one on The Billboard Chart can happen more than once in a lifetime for a South African singer!
Carver has achieved her second number one on the US Billboard Chart today after her latest single with US DJ Joe Bermudez, ‘Crazy Enough’, was announced as the top song on the Billboard Dance Club Play Songs Chart.
Joe Bermudez is ecstatic: "I would have been happy if this song connected with just one person so imagine how happy I am that it's connected with enough people to make it go no.1. I can't thank Louise Carver enough for being crazy enough to jump on a plane and fly to Boston to work with me either. Her beautiful delivery of the song's message is a big reason it's done so well. She is a world class talent."
We received a very special message from Louise:
‘Crazy Enough’ is the second collaboration between Louise and Joe, and follows their Billboard #1 hit ‘Sunrise’, which took the top position on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart on the 17th of August 2016, knocking Rihanna’s single, ‘Needed Me’, off the top spot.
“Joe is a rare find in an industry filled with huge egos and big talk, little action. He is all about the work and connecting with his fans in an authentic way,” Louise says. “We work well together because we both love what we do and understand what we need to do to make great music. I hope to work with him for a long time to come.”
We are unbelievably excited for Louise and this amazing achievement. If you haven't heard this chart-topping song yet, take a listen below:
