Flaming Lips’ amazing concert in bubbles

Nothing could get in the way of the Flaming Lips
giving their audience a live show to remember...

The coronavirus pandemic has led to many live shows being cancelled to minimise the risk of spreading the virus.
However, the Flaming Lips came up with a very creative way to ensure they can host a live show that will put no one in danger of contracting the virus.
The band performed a gig in bubbles to an audience also in famed plastic space bubbles in Oklahoma City at The Criterion club. The show was attended by over a hundred audiences.
The band will reportedly be using the video from the show as a music video for their new songs ‘Assassins of Youth’ and ‘Brother Eye’.
This is not the first time the band has performed in bubbles.
Earlier this year, the band performed on 'The Late Show With Stephen Colbert' in bubbles.
