Jacaranda FM is inviting listeners and advertisers from provinces all over South Africa to tune in to the multi-award-winning station through its fast-expanding online streaming and app platforms.

The campaign will focus on rolling out a variety of exciting activations and on-air promotions countrywide – growing the station’s combined broadcast and digital audience.

Jacaranda FM has seen a substantial, 23% growth in audience since the beginning of 2018 and – with a line-up that includes the likes of Martin Bester, Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp, Alex Jay, Rian van Heerden and more – it has long been a firm favourite with audiences across Gauteng, Mpumalanga, North West and Limpopo.

Stats have, however, also recently shown a significant increase in listenership beyond its transmitter reach – with people from all over South Africa and across the globe using online streaming and the Jacaranda FM app to tune in to the station’s music, news, interviews, competitions and other class-leading content.

“The Jacaranda FM family of listeners in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo and North West have supported us loyally over years and we’re sure they’d agree that there’s more than enough vibe, love and good tunes here to share with the rest of South Africa,” says Jacaranda FM’s Marketing Manager, Leith Smith.

“We’re not going to tell all just yet, but be assured that there are many exciting things – surprise broadcasts, parties, community projects and awesome prizes - to come your way nationwide.”

The station will also continue shaping it’s offering to its core audience to remain on its trend-setting course through its newly announced collaboration with Sandton City, along with well-established on-air favourites like Secret Sound, the No Repeat Workday, Good Morning Angels, events like SPAR Carols by Candlelight and many more.

“It’s this audience who have made Jacaranda FM what it is – supporting us and giving us the power to change people’s lives, and South Africa as a whole, for the better,” says Jacaranda FM’s Programme Manager, Hennie Myburgh, “It’s thanks to them and clients who have backed us all the way that we now get to share the on-air magic created by a world-class team at Jacaranda FM with South Africa and the world.”
