Jesse Clegg set to perform at New York's iconic Carnegie Hall

The singer has opened up about what the show at New York's iconic Carnegie Hall means to him.

Jesse Clegg is on his way to becoming a global superstar. 

The singer is set to perform at the iconic Carnegie Hall in New York City later this year. 

Speaking about the upcoming show, the star said it comes as a great honour to perform in New York. 

"I am immensely excited and honoured to be performing at Carnegie Hall for the first time," Clegg said in a statement, according to News24. 

"This opportunity is a culmination of dreams, dedication and a significant milestone in my career," the statement continued. 

The singer said he is honoured to be taking to the stage for his American fans. 

"I feel reverence to grace such an iconic stage where some of my heroes have performed and to once again be sharing my music with an American audience in such a special space," he said in a statement.

Jesse, who is the son of the late legendary singer Johnny Clegg, released his first single, 'Today', in 2009, followed by his debut album, 'When I Wake Up'. 

Last year, he held the 'Songs and Memories' show at the Monte Casino Teatro Theatre, and featured the frontman for the band Walk The Moon, Nicholas Petricca.

Jesse's show at Carnegie Hall will be held on 29 October 2024.
