Lana Del Rey is releasing new music in May

Lana Del Rey has announced that her upcoming album, ‘The Right Person Will Stay’, will be released in May.
After months of teasing new music, Lana Del Rey has announced the official release date for her next album.
Lana took to Instagram to share the exciting news that her upcoming album, 'The Right Person Will Stay', will be released on May 21.
The singer said the album will consist of 13 songs and she announced that she worked with producers Luke Laird, Jack Antonoff, Zach Dawes, and Drew Erickson.
"The right person will stay Out may 21 so grateful that my 13 tracks came together with my beautiful work between Luke, Jack, Zach and Drew Erickson amongst others. Happy for you to hear a few songs coming up before Stagecoach 🚴 🧣 starting with Henry. Love Always," she wrote on Instagram.
This is Lana's tenth studio album.
Earlier this year, Lana announced that she is venturing into a new genre - country. She made the announcement at the Billboard and NMPA Songwriter Awards in Los Angeles on January 31.
”If you can’t already tell by our award winners and our performers, the music business is going country. We’re going country. It’s happening,” she said.

In an interview with Vogue in August, she said her country album would be a little lighter lyrically.
“If anything, it will just be a little lighter lyrically, and more pointed in a classic country, American, or Southern Gothic production — which again, so many of my songs already are.”

The news about the new album comes a few months after Lana Del Rey collaborated with Quavo and released a single titled, 'Tough'.
The music video has over 19-million views on YouTube since the video was posted on July 3.
