Laudo Liebenberg and the EET KREEF band is paying tribute to an iconic album by Johannes Kerkorrel and the Gereformeerde Blues Band with a re-interpretation.
Laudo Liebenberg and Frank Freeman visited Carla Mackenzie on the Top SA Music podcast to talk about how this project started - three decades after the release of the original album. Atterbury Theatre will be the home of the EET KREEF! Herleef show on 27 March - on Johannes Kerkorrel’s birthday!
Laudo Liebenberg also released his
first Afrikaans solo single, ‘Ek Kan Nie Wag’, after his wife gave him ‘studio
time’ as a birthday present! The lead singer of aKing embarked on this project
after deciding "it’s time"!
