Is it too early to start playing Christmas music? Not if you are Mariah Carey. The 52-year-old will be releasing a new song in November called, 'It’s Time To Fall In Love At Christmas'.

Gospel star Kirk Franklin and Khalid feature on the holiday tune.

The 'Queen of Christmas' - a name she apparently hates -  will also be appearing in Apple TV+'s 'Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues' special in December.

Mariah will be performing her new song for the first time on the Christmas special.

Mariah Carey kicked off the festive season one day after Halloween. "It's time," she announced on social media.

The Grammy Award-winning singer told Naomi Campbell in 2020 that she is a big fan of Christmas.

"I know people are like 'you love Christmas!' and they make fun of me, but it's okay because I do... I was a sad kid that wanted Christmas to be great. I wanted a real family that cared about me. I wanted them to care and I wanted them not to ruin it and they ruined it every year," she said on 'No Filter with Naomi'.

Love her or hate her, Mariah Carey is the queen of securing the festive season bag.

"As long as it’s a Christmas holiday Mariah Carey will never be hungry," one Twitter user joked.

Another tweep wrote: "I’m just thinking about how Mariah Carey will never be broke bc Christmas exists... like what a power move."
