Singers Jacques Terre’ Blanche and Martin Bester have just released their duet, Face the Facts - and it's hot!
The pop/fusion single, written by Jacques and produced by Mark Beling, will hit the airwaves soon.
"The song is essentially about someone that realizes that time away from the love of their life, is time misspent," says Jacques.
He says the comprehension of this overwhelming feeling of love and gratitude is the underlying essence of the lyrics.
Face the Facts is Jacques’ first English release in more than 2 years.
"I love to record and perform in both English and Afrikaans and both markets have been extremely loyal and supportive to me throughout my career," he says.
Face the Facts is the first time Jacques teams up with popular musician and Radio/TV personality, Martin Bester.
The two musicians have been friends for years, making this collaboration a natural progression for them.
"As a performer I find it important to continuously reinvent myself," says the Jacaranda FM presenter.
He adds that the sound of the song is very different from all his previous work.
"I’m really proud to share this with everyone out there and know they will love it," he says.
