The duet was filmed as part of his special online concert ‘Believe in Christmas’ that was recorded at Teatro Regio di Parma opera house.
Sharing this magical performance on his Instagram page, Bocelli writes: "To “believe in Christmas” means to not forget what not only faith but also what history teaches us: after every night, the sun rises."
The performance, that has since been viewed more than 7 million times on Youtube, starts with Virginia taking a guitar to her father on stage.
“Ah, you’ve brought me a guitar,” Bocelli says to her as she joins him on the illuminated stage. “Is it tuned up?”
“Yes,” she says.
“Shall we do a song together?”, Bocelli asks as he elegantly starts playing the instrument.
