The Weeknd releases music for his HBO show, 'The Idol'

As the world gears up for The Weeknd's HBO drama, 'The Idol', the singer has released a song he made for the series.
The Weeknd has released new music for his upcoming drama series, 'The Idol'.
The single, 'Double Fantasy', was released on Friday.
The Weeknd shared a short clip of the video on his Instagram on Thursday.
"Official Video for DOUBLE FANTASY out tonight," he wrote.

The music video already has over 300,000 views within hours of being released.
Fans have described it as "a mesmerising piece of music and video".
The song features Future and was produced by the Weeknd, Mike Dean, and Metro Boomin.
The Weeknd announced that the drama series will premiere on HBO on 5 June.
It stars Lily-Rose Depp who plays the role of Jocelyn - an aspiring pop singer who is ready to be an idol.
She falls in love with an underground cult leader, Tedros, played by The Weeknd.
