Tornado damages Phumulani Mall, several injured

A tornado caused extensive damage to the Phumulani Mall in Tembisa on Tuesday.
The roof collapsed after the tornado hit the mall leaving several people injured.
Emergency services are on scene.
Emer-G-Med spokesperson Max Cohen says paramedics are working through the rubble to try and establish whether any people are still trapped.
"The tornado also damaged several shacks near the Tembisa Hospital," Cohen confirms.
There have been several sightings of a tornado in Gauteng.

The Road Traffic Management Corporation has urged motorists and public transport drivers to be cautious on the roads as wet weather conditions are set to spread throughout the country.
