Two killed in Mayfair shooting
Two Ethiopian men have been shot dead in Mayfair this afternoon.
Police confirm five suspects have been arrested for the fatal shooting.
The suspects had been found in possession of two unlicensed firearms.
Gauteng police spokesperson Kay Makhubele says: "It's alleged a group of Malawians shot the deceased in their shop."
It is unclear whether the victims owned the shop or just worked there.
"We are investigating a case of murder. The suspects will appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court soon," Makhubele confirms.
