Battle lines drawn in Gauteng
Updated | By Pieter van der Merwe
While the majority of votes in the Local Government Elections have been counted, the country is still waiting for Gauteng, where the three metros are still waiting to hear who their new local leaders will be.
By lunchtime, the DA slightly stretched its lead in Tshwane, while the ANC held a comfortable lead in Ekurhuleni.
The battle lines have been drawn in Johannesburg, where it will most likely come down to the last votes before a winner can be announced.
