DA in Soshanguve to garner some last minute votes
Updated | By Samkele Maseko
The DA leader Mmusi Maimane has described the road to Wednesday's Local Government Elections as gruelling.
Maimane is in Soshanguve South to try and garner some last minute votes for the official opposition.
Soshanguve South is a community characterised by shacks and gravel roads.
Residents now say the time has come for change, and that they will vote for the DA.
Maimane says listening to the issues facing communities has made this campaign a difficult one.
"It's been a long campaign. Of course, naturally it takes its toll on one, but nobody said it would be easy and somebody once said it always seems impossible until it's done. So, I'm looking forward to Wednesday. I'm looking forward to casting my own vote," Maimane said.
