The DA James Selfe says they are hoping to keep the ANC under 50 percent in the three big metro confirming that the DA is also leading in Cape Town with an increased majority.
Election results started trickling in at 9:30 last night and votes continued to be counted on Thursday morning.
With 42% of the votes counted on a national level, the ANC is in the lead with a little more than 51% of the votes.

The DA's James Selfe says they remain confident with the result adding that they will win Cape Town with an increased majority.
