Our Voices: Atteridgeville

As part of the Our Voices series in the run-up to the local government election on Wednesday, Samkelo Maseko visited Atteridgeville in Gauteng to speak to residents.
Atteridgeville, part of the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality, is a township located to the west of Pretoria.
Hundreds of ANC supporters took to the streets in July following the news that Thoko Didiza would replace the popular Kgosientso 'Sputla' Ramokgopa as the party's Tshwane mayoral candidate.
Tshwane is one of the most hotly contested municipalities in this year's municipal elections, with the DA garnering significant support since the previous elections.
