Updated | By Samkele Maseko
The ANC says it is willing to form a coalition government should it not the get enough votes.
The party's Chief Whip and NEC member Jackson Mthembu says they would go back to the lessons learnt in the coalition government with the NFP in certain local municipalities.
He believe the ANC will perform well, especially in the hotly contested Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality, but has not ruled out the possibility of any coalition.
The DA's James Selfe says they will wait until after the results are in to consider options.
