Actor and voice-over artist, Cobus Visser, known for his roles in Villa Rosa and Binnelanders, has died.

Visser had a history of heart problems and had worked on iconic Afrikaans productions such as Onder Draai die Duiwel Rond, Vetkoek Paleis, Egoli: Place of Gold, Fiela se Kind, and Die Storie van Klara Viljee.
Meiring wrote in a Facebook post on Monday: "We've come 35 years together, but he has been set free, and that is what matters."
