Anatii wins at Soul Train

Local musician Anatii walked away a winner at the Soul Train Music Awards alongside WizKid for their contribution to Beyonce’s hit ‘Brown Skin Girl’.

Anatii Mnyango (aka Anatii) and Ayodeji Balogun (WizKid) are the only Africans listed as winners.

The event, hosted by Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold, took place in Las Vegas on Sunday evening.

 

Chris Brown and Drake were the biggest winners of the evening, walking away with three awards for their collaboration on ‘No Guidance’.

 

Lizzo was the second-biggest winner of the evening.
