As Jy Sing: Premiere

The who is who of the Afrikaans entertainment industry descended on the Brooklyn Mall in Pretoria last night, for the premiere of As Jy Sing.

 

The film is directed by André Odendaal and produced by Johan Vorster.

 

It plays off at a music camp called “Kanniedood” where the conventional music teacher’s passion for his students leads him to fight hard in overcome obstacles in convincing the school principal to take a more active interest. 

 

 

The group consists of the cast-outs from a sport focused school. They are forced by circumstances to stand for what they believe in, which of course, is music.

 

As Jy Sing boasts a stellar line up of well-known stars, as well as some young, fresh talent:
