Britney Spears says she had the "best Christmas' ever after reuniting with one of her estranged sons for the holidays...
Britney Spears received the best Christmas present this year. She spent the holiday with her 18-year-old son Jayden James following a rocky few years.
"Best Christmas of my life!!! I haven’t seen my boys in 2 years !!! Tears of joy and literally in shock everyday koo koo crazy so in love and blessed !!! I’m speechless. Thank you, Jesus!!!" she wrote on Instagram.
The '...Baby One More Time' singer and ex-husband Kevin Federline have two children together, Jayden and his older brother Sean Preston, 19.
She has been estranged from her children for a few years, with her sons famously choosing not to attend her 2022 wedding to Sam Asghari. The pair have since divorced.
Kevin gained primary custody of the boys in 2007 due to Brtiney's “habitual, frequent and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol” at the time. She was placed under an involuntary conservatorship in 2008, which ended in 2021. Britney and Kevin have had various custody arrangements during that time.
Now that her sons are older, they seem more keen to strengthen their relationship with their mother. According to People, Jayden reconnected with Britney just in time for Thanksgiving in November.
"It made her so happy to spend one-on-one time together and just hang out,” a source told Page Six. It's unclear if Sean Preston got to see his mother this Christmas.
However, they are also said to be mending their relationship.
