Van Jaarsveld won’t be one of the coaches in the third season of popular singing competition, The Voice SA.

Bobby van Jaarsveld won’t be seen on the third season of The Voice SA.

Bobby announced in an Instagram post that his journey with The Voice SA has come to an end. According to the post, the singer was "beyond excited and happy" when he first heard that he had been chosen to be a coach on The Voice SA.

He said in a caption under a picture with fellow season 1 and 2 coaches Khan Morbee and Karen Zoid: "I feel so privileged to have been part of The Voice for 2 seasons.... it's been one amazing journey and want to thank each and everyone who was with me through this journey... I'm gonna miss it very much. [sic]"

Bobby and his sister, Karlien van Jaarsveld, are currently hosts of VIA TV’s Die Kontrak which follows a similar format. The show aims to crown the next big Afrikaans music star.

THE OTHER COACHES?

A red seat is now reserved for multi-talented rapper and record producer Riky Rick. 

“This flashy trendsetter knows first-hand how hard it can be to make it big in the music industry, and he is keen to share his know-how with the talent on The Voice. We’re super excited to see him in action on the show’s iconic red chairs," said M-Net’s Head of Publicity, Lani Lombard.

The coaches who will be competing with Riky to hone the skills of The Voice SA's phenomenal singers and go on to produce the winner of the season Lira, Riana Nel and Francois van Coke.
