Candice Abrahams crowned Mrs World 2016
Mrs South Africa, Candice Abrahams has been crowned Mrs World 2016 in China at the weekend.
Candice is a model, fashion blogger, wife to radio personality Ismail Abrahams and mother of two.
According to the official Mrs South Africa website she believes that the youth are our future and that we should groom and empower our children to be greater adults.
She says she wants to ensure that girls grow up into being secure, confident woman with a “can do” attitude.
"Children need to know that their circumstances should not define who they are and want to be!" she said.
"Who knew that a girl from a small community would one day make it as a Miss South Africa finalist and that was me. As Mrs South Africa, I now I’m given a second chance to live my dream, to educate, empower and encourage," she wrote on the site.
Candice’s hobbies include: Reading, picnics with her family, Boxing, Yoga and dancing.
Of herself she says: I love karaoke, I can sing non stop and I believe I have a backing vocal voice! I am a huge prankster! I’m constantly pulling pranks on my family and friends.
