CONFIRMED! Armand du Plessis heading to Mr World in July
Mr South Africa, Armand du Plessis has confirmed that he will be heading to the Mr World competition in July this year.
Current Mr South Africa, Armand du Plessis confirmed on twitter at the weekend that the Mr World Competition would be held in Southport, England on the 19th of July.
Unlike the conventional male beauty pageants, Mr World is a 2-3 week competition designed to test candidates in a variety of ways - physically as well as mentally.
The contestants from various countries take part in challenges set to test every aspect of being named the world's most desirable man.
They take part in physical challenges as well as interviews before the final stage show.
Armand, who will be representing his country for the first time on an international stage, has been hard at work getting ready for the competition.
