Days Of Our Lives cancelled
Twitter was abuz on Monday after the announcement by the SABC that the popular soap opera, Days Of Our Lives will get the chop.
The SABC made the announcement in line with it's new policy of broadcasting more locally generated content as instructed by the current COO, Hlaudi Motsoeneng.
According to TVSA three new talk shows are being injected into SABC 3, starting with a Tween talk show on Monday, 4 July at 14h00.
The second talker is an untitled late night talk show that will air from Mondays to Thursdays, with early morning repeats at 04h30 for insomniacs and security guards.
The third show is called Real Talk and it's the reason that Days of Our Lives has been canned. It starts on Monday, 21 July in the current timeslot of Afternoon Express while Afternoon Express moves into Days Of Our Lives timeslot at 17h00.
There's no word on who will be hosting these shows.
