Disney applauded for its first gay kiss
If you thought Afrikaans soapie 7de Laan is the only television series to embrace gay romance , you are very mistaken. Disney has been applauded in the United States for its first gay kiss, What’s more, the kiss is not only gay, it’s also inter-racial.
On Monday, American viewers of the “Star vs. Forces and Evil” series watched history being made in the world of Disney.
In the episode, the main character Star and her friend Marco were attending a concert, and found themselves surrounded by kissing couples, including two men. Later I the episode, two women were also featured.
