Gigi Hadid: Zayn is my 'special someone'

The 20-year-old model admitted her hunky boyfriend was the first person she contacted when she saw her pictures for the latest swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated magazine and he was "obviously" impressed by the bikini photos.

Asked who she contacted first, she said: "I texted my special someone, I always get excited about the pictures...

"He obviously liked the pictures."

As well as being thrilled to be in the magazine's famous swimsuit issue for the third year in a row, the publication always holds a special significance for Gigi because it marks the anniversary of her friendship with Lily Aldridge.

She told 'Entertainment Tonight': "This is both of our third year doing Sports Illustrated, so Swim Week is our anniversary.

"So this is our three-year friendship anniversary!"

As well as Lily, Gigi also counts Taylor Swift among her friends and was incredibly "proud" of her pal for picking up three Grammy awards - Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year for '1989' and Best Music Video for 'Bad Blood' - earlier this week, though she wasn't surprised by the singer's triumph.

She said: "I was expecting it, I was not surprised she won but [I'm] so proud of her and I think it's a really great journey to the end of '1989', and no one deserves it more than her.

"She's the most hard-working, business-minded, brilliant, kind person. I'm so happy for her. I wish I could have been there but we were all there in spirit."
