Blake Lively, Taylor Momsen, Ed Westwick and Chace Crawford are mourning the "terrible loss" of their former costar.

Following news of her death, former 'Gossip Girl' star Michelle Trachtenberg has been described as "unapologetically funny and magnetic".
Trachtenberg was found dead in her luxury New York apartment on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. She was 39.
According to several reports, her mother was the one to discover her lifeless body.
Her cause of death has not been disclosed, but the actress, who has also appeared in 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and 'Harriet the Spy', was reportedly recovering from a recent liver transplant.
Her 'Gossip Girl' co-star, Blake Lively, shared an emotional tribute on Instagram Stories.
"She was electricity. You knew when she entered a room because the vibration changed. Everything she did, she did 200%," Lively captioned a picture from the first day they met.
Lively, who played Serena van der Woodsen, added: "She was fiercely loyal to her friends and brave for those she loved, she was big and bold and distinctly herself.”

Trachtenberg played Georgina Sparks on 'Gossip Girl', who fans have called one of the show's most iconic characters.
The popular CW show also starred Penn Badgley (Dan Humphrey), who many will recognise from Netflix's 'You' series, Leighton Meester (Blair Waldorf), Kelly Rutherford (Lillian 'Lily' van der Woodsen), Matthew Settle (Rufus Humphrey), Jessica Szohr (Vanessa Abrams) and Kaylee DeFer (Ivy Dickens).
Cast members Taylor Momsen (Jennifer 'Jenny' Humphrey), Chace Crawford (Nathaniel 'Nate' Archibald), and Ed Westwick (Charles 'Chuck' Bass) were also among the first to pay tribute to Trachtenberg.
"Michelle was one of a kind. I remember her coming on set for the first time and just absolutely owning it. She was a force of nature and just so so unapologetically funny and magnetic... Remembering those years with a big smile. Just a terrible loss. Love you," Crawford wrote on Instagram.
Westwick wrote: "So sad to hear of the passing of @michelletrachtenberg Sending prayer."
Momsen shared a picture of a smiling Trachtenberg: "One of a kind."
