It is that time of the year again, where we hear the best and the worst of talent that South Africa has to offer.

Idols SA returns for another season with auditions that have already kicked off. 


Contestants from SA's capital, Pretoria, came out in full forces showcasing their talent with more than a handful of hopefuls who impressed the judges.


Mzansi Magic announced the audition dates and venues for the 13th season of the singing competition late last year.


This coming weekend Durban hopefuls can make their way to the Playhouse while Carnival City will host the last round of auditions on Saturday the 4th of February.

During the Pretoria auditions, Duan Coetzee, from Pretoria made an impression on the judges, nine years after entering the Afrikaans singing competition, Supersterre.


Duan is diesel mechanic and writes his own music and performs at private gigs.
