Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are currently dealing with a highly publicised divorce.

The two stars have announced their decision to work together to ensure that their two children can have access to them equally.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the singer and actor said their children will spend time at their respective homes in the UK and the US.

The agreement comes after Sophie sued Joe for allegedly keeping their children in the United States without her consent.

"After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the UK. We look forward to being great co-parents," the stars told Billboard in a joint statement.

Joe and Sophie first announced their divorce in September.

In a joint statement released on social media, the two stars said ending the marriage was a mutual agreement.

"After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children," read their statement on IG.

The pair have two daughters together aged three and one.
